Announcing Check Later

Today I've released an app that I've been working on for some time, Check Later. It's a lightweight iPhone and iPad app with share sheet actions and widgets that you can save links and build a queue to consume.

The idea comes from a need I felt myself. During the day I get messages with links for me to check out or I come across to something on Twitter that I want to check out but as the is not very appropriate, I end up opening them in Safari and my tabs keep piling up all the time. You may ask, there are many good read later apps, why don't you use one? I'm using Instapaper for years, even I forgot when I started using it. And I don't want to clutter it with random links to a YouTube video, website of a new startup, that weird enum type documentation from iOS SDK, etc. That's also why Check Later doesn't have a reading mode and an article parser. Links that you save in it will be opened in your default browser.

And here is Check Later. You can download it on the App Store. It's an iPhone and iPad app, but for those of you who has an M1 Mac can also download it on the Mac. I'm already working on a proper Mac app and you can download an early access version from the website.

So, give it a try and let me know what you think. 🙂 I trust most of my audience are developers. As WWDC is just around the corner, why don't you give Check Later a chance to be your companion to save all those interesting links and, well ...check later. 😁
